Chocolate-y Pear Energy Smoothie
Serves 2
Ingredients:
6 ounces unsweetened Almond milk
2 pears
1/2 frozen banana
1 big handful of baby Spinach
1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
1 capsule contents of Chaga mushrooms (about 1 teaspoon)
1 tablespoon of Cacao powder
1 teaspoon of hemp protein
1 teaspoon of maca
Directions:
Put ingredients in your blender and mix well. Pour contents into glass. Garnish with a slice of pear and sip with your straw.

A few months ago, Lauren from Nutri-Savvy was having a giveaway on her blog for Ruth’s Hemp Foods. I entered the give-away and I won. Yay! I’ve been experimenting with this Protein powder and here’s one of the smoothies I made with it. Delish!

Strawberry Kiwi Lemonade Green Smoothie
Serves 1
Ingredients:
4 to 6 ounces of fresh filtered water
6 large organic strawberries
2 cups fresh baby spinach
1 kiwi
1⁄2 lemon, zested and juiced
1/4 avocado
1 scoop of hemp protein
1 cup of ice
Directions:
Put ingredients in your blender and mix well. Pour contents into glass and sip with your straw.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Smoothie
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 pumpkin puree
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 oz (about 2 tablespoons) cream cheese
1 ripe banana, frozen
2 teaspoons honey (or sweetener of choice)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
sprinkle of nutmeg for garnish
Directions:
Place all ingredients except the ice cubes in a high speed blender (such as a Vitamix) and process until smooth and creamy. Add the ice cubes and process again until smooth and creamy. Pour contents into glass, garnish with nutmeg and sip with your straw.

Pomegranate Chocolate Chip Smoothie
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
1 cup coconut milk (or your favorite nut milk)
1/4 cup pomegranate juice
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1 banana
1 cup ice
cacao power for glass (optional)
pomegranate seeds for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Wet rim of glasses in water or pomegranate juice and dip in cacao powder. Set aside.
Place all ingredients except the pomegranate seeds and ice cubes in a high speed blender (such as a Vitamix) and process until smooth and creamy. Add the ice cubes and process again until smooth and creamy. Pour contents into glass, garnish with pomegranate seeds and sip with your straw.

Dairy Free Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Here we are – well into November with pumpkin season in full swing! Not sure if you know this about me, but love pumpkin! Pumpkin pie … pumpkin smoothies … you know a pumpkin freak. I’m generally a warm weather person, but I have a weakness for squash, sweet potatoes and actually all root vegetables which makes the cold winter months more bearable.
I’ve made other pumpkin smoothies, but this one is dairy free. I hope you enjoy!

Dairy Free Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
1/4 cup canned pumpkin purée (or fresh roasted, cooled)
1/4 cup raw pecans
1 cup ice cold water
2 teaspoons flaxseeds or chia seeds
1 frozen banana, cut into thick slices
2 or 3 pitted dates
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 inch knob of fresh ginger
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
4 ice cubes
Directions:

Peach Basil Smoothie

Most people usually think of fruit and yogurt in smoothies. Herbs are often forgotten, but make for an excellent smoothie ingredient. This is a very refreshing smoothie and packed full of quality nutrition.
Basil contains oils that have anti-inflammatory and anti-bactierial properties. It’s also packed with flavinoids. Not to mention all the other phytonutrients obtained from the strawberries, lemon juice, and peach. The yogurt offers as a source of probiotics and protein. This smoothie not only tastes great, but will help support a healthy immune system to keep you plugging away at the miles.
Peach Basil Smoothie
Serves 2
Ingredients:
11 oz coconut water
5-6 large basil leaves
1 cup frozen peaches (or 1 fresh peach, pitted and sliced)
juice and zest of half a lemon
1 teaspoon Reiki mushrooms
1 teaspoon Maca Powder
1 teaspoon Chlorella
1 tablet Blue-Green Algae
1 packet Stevia
Directions:
Put ingredients in your blender and mix well. Pour contents into glass and sip with your straw. If you are so inclined, you can put a few cherries on a toothpick or mint leaves for garnish.

Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie

I haven’t been to a Wendy’s in years, but this Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie reminds me of their Frosty, but with peanut butter!
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
1 cup of nut milk (I used 1/2 coconut, 1/2 almond)
1 frozen banana
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1/3 cup greek yogurt
2 tablespoons peanut butter
handful of ice
Strawberry for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour contents into glass and sip with your straw. Garnish with a strawberry.

1/2 lime juice

Caramel Apple Smoothie
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
4 oz. Hemp Milk (or your favorite nut milk)
1/2 of large apple (I used a Honey Crisp)
1 banana
1 teaspoon caramel, melted
1 teaspoon coconut cream (see recipe here)
1 cup of ice
Directions:
Save one thin slice of your apple for garnish (option). Put ingredients in your blender and mix well. Pour contents into glass and sip with your straw.

Strawberries and Cream Smoothie
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
1 cup Coconut Milk
7 organic strawberries, divided
1 banana
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon champagne extract
1 cup ice
Directions:
Put ingredients, saving one strawberry for garnish, in your blender and mix well. Pour contents into glass and sip with your straw. Top with sliced strawberry for garnish.
